London, 16th June 2022 – Investment firm Capital A has acquired a majority stake in Ambitious People Group, an international recruitment consultancy operating with five brands across six countries.
With this investor on board, Ambitious People Group is investing in further digitization of its business model and aims to shape its international buy and build strategy. Managing Director Dennis Grefkens stated, “We are ambitious, as our name suggests, and ambition runs in our DNA. Therefore, we are delighted and proud to have found an equally ambitious and reputable investor in Capital A to accelerate our growth strategy. Together with Capital A, we are investing in further digitization and exploring the opportunities that a buy and build strategy brings. Currently, we are in discussions with our first potential acquisition candidate.”
Five brands, six countries
The current shareholders of Ambitious People Group will remain on board, along with the management team. In fact, two members of the management team will also become shareholders. Grefkens added, “We believe in our growth plan, which focuses on further digitization, opening new offices and brands, and targeted acquisitions. With Capital A by our side, we can provide a tremendous boost to these initiatives.”

Continuing ambition
Ambitious People Group consists of five specialized brands: SAM Recruitment, Ardekay IT Recruitment, LMH Engineering, Four Life Sciences, and Five Finance. The company, headquartered in Amsterdam, operates with nearly two hundred employees and twenty-four offices in six countries. Ambitious People Group has received the FD Gazelle award, recognizing it as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands, for ten consecutive years. Grefkens stated, “We have doubled our revenue every four years. Together, we will further accelerate this growth trajectory.”
